Welcome to the weekend friends! I am exhausted from the day. Here's how it went.
I woke up at the usual time(s) and stepped into the shower. Put on some clean clothes and headed out in to the world in search of some food, taking into consideration that it was nearing lunch time. I decided that a guy can never go wrong with Subway so I headed down the street to Katella and enjoyed a delicious Cold Cut Combo. After devouring my lunch I sauntered back down the street towards my apartment and after entering my domicile I worked on a project for awhile before losing all motivation and succumbing to nap time. Now I want to paint a picture for you so that you don't think I just got lazy and took a nap. Picture if you will a light bulb that flickers once, twice, and then goes out. That's about the extent of it.
After my nap I awoke and got dressed for work. Another day of guest control on the parade route. I met up with a friend and co-cast member before hand to help him out with some things at work before clocking in. As people begin going back to whence they came, I am finding that guest control isn't all that bad. The crowds are dwindling at the park, and people aren't quite as on edge as they are during the holidays. Speaking of holidays, the Jolly Holiday restaurant opened yesterday on Main Street U.S.A. and has been a huge success! It is a bakery themed after Mary Poppins. How cool is that?
As the work day drew to a close I thought again about how lucky I am to work where I do. Time to head home. So here I sit now, beer in hand, and leaving the future in the hands of God. Looking back on it now I realize that was a strange collaboration of words I just wrote, but they made sense in my head. Just remember that when things seem the bad, they could always be worse. You could be a Zebra.
