Hello there faithful (and unfaithful) readers! At this time I am writing to you while sitting in a Coco's restaurant. Today my day began as any other... with me opening my groggy eyes to check the time. 9:00a.m. was what displayed on my phone. I slid out of bed and threw on some dirty jeans and a clean shirt, did bathroom type things and then sped out the door. In case you are wondering, I did not shower this morning but remedied that oversight before I went to work this afternoon. Off to the bank to make a deposit and then home to work on some Photoshop projects I've had on my plate. So as promised in yesterday's first post I have included both final projects here. The jungle one I created as a thank you to all my fellow skippers on The World Famous Jungle Cruise at Disneyland to show my appreciation for them showing me the ropes and continuing to teach me to be the best I can be. The second one is a true "castle in the clouds" and depicts Sleeping Beauty's Castle engulfed in delightful, puffy clouds. Working on these projects is very inspiring and fun for me and I'm glad I can share that happiness with all of you!
I took a short nap this afternoon before getting ready for and heading to work. I was on the parade route this afternoon and was part of the team who helps direct guests behind the buildings on Main Street U.S.A. to the front of the park by the train station to help alleviate some of the traffic from the sidewalks on Main Street proper. All went smoothly for the second parade and then it was break time. After a much needed cup of coffee we headed out to Frontierland and prepared for our part of guest control for fireworks and Fantasmic! After the Holidays it felt like a walk in the park (pun intended). All went well here and then it was take down and go home. I enjoy the route on days like this but wouldn't care for it every day. I will be back in the jungle at the end of the week and can't wait! Until then I will continue to play with strangers' children and tell people where they can't go.
I couldn't think of a good quote relating to crowd control so here is a picture of monorail cat.
And as promised, here are the projects from Photoshop!
Extracarricular
I have found a lot of time recently awarded to me so I have been brushing up (pun intended) on my Photoshop skills! I'll post some samples as soon as I get a few projects done.
