Today I awoke to a slightly overcast morning. Perhaps you could even call it a hazy morning. I stretched, slid out of bed and headed to the shower. After sufficiently scrubbing the filth of the previous day off my body, I retreated to my little room and sent some emails, one important correspondence in particular to the man at the hotel I had interviewed with last week. He had previously informed me that he would be conducting second interviews this week, so with it being Friday, I thought it proper to contact him. Now it was time for lunch and some tacos from Jack in the box were calling my name. The sun had come out and it had warmed up quite a bit so I decided to walk down the block to the restaurant. After some much needed sustenance, I gave my Grandmother a call. We chatted for awhile and then I returned home where I seized my laptop and began writing this very entry that you are reading right now. Normally I would not do an entry in the middle of the day, but I have unwantingly found myself with a lot of time on my hands so I am doing all I can to fill it.
Later this evening I will be joining a friend for some bowling. I haven't bowled in ages so it should turn out to be a good time no matter what. Between now and then however, I am filling my day with some reading, and perhaps exploring a revamp of this blogs layout, and re-inventing the blog that never was. It currently sits dormant in my account with a name that I'm not thrilled about. So until then, I leave you with the words of Oscar Wilde.
"If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life."
