This morning I woke up around 10:00, threw on some clothes, and headed for the coffee pot. My Aunt and Uncle are visiting from California and will be here for a month. My Uncle Jim was having trouble connecting to the WiFi so I helped him out, coffee in hand of course. After that, I came inside and began searching hotels.com for a temporary place of residence while me and my mom and brother are in Denver to see the Rockies beat the Dodgers (wink wink). I have my eye on a few places, so I saved them and then began looking at hotels in Las Vegas for yours truly to stay at while he takes a much needed weekend escape after we return from Denver. This trip will be just for me. I'm going to stay at a nice hotel on the strip for two nights, do some gambling, get a massage, go to some bars, and just relax without having to answer to anyone but myself. It's going to be epic. I will probably drive so as to have the equally epic road trip experience.
I grabbed some lunch which consisted of leftover Cajun shrimp pasta from the day before, retrieved the mail, and popped in my newest netflix. A text from my boss cut my movie short and I hopped in the shower and headed off to work. I arrived after fighting the construction that's taking place on my street and had a fairly uneventful evening. We had a tour group of mostly first time gamblers staying at the hotel, so I assisted them with the basics of playing slot machines. One lady attempted to take me home with her but I insisted that many people here would miss me terribly. She understood. By the time 11:30p.m. rolled around it was time to go home, which I did and finished watching my movie. I wrapped up around 2:15a.m. and crashed out in my bed. Goodnight goodnight.
