Most people would boo and vomit a little in their mouth at the thought of Monday because to most people Monday signals the start of a new work week. Not in my world. In the land of theatre, Monday is a day off. A day of bliss and breaking free from the confines of a windowless building for a solid 24 hours. Hmm... when I say it in hours it doesn't seem as long.
I woke up today with nothing planned out whatsoever. I arose around 8:00 a.m. to a sweet face and went upstairs to make the coffee. Returned and talked with said sweet face a little more and then she went off to work and I decided to play some computer games for awhile before taking a shower and heading off into the world. I grabbed my laptop and swung by Stacked for a tasty sandwich and a refreshing beer before making the quick trip down the street to Cafe Andreini where I would sit for the next two hours with a very girly coffee drink buffing up my resume. After losing all feeling in my ass I hopped in the car and took it for a much needed bath, then back home to clean the interior and begin replacing the struts on the rear hatch. That project was quickly halted when I realized I did not have the right size tool for the job (speaking in terms of shop tools ya pervs). Seeing the sunlight slipping away as it was I opted to go inside and crack open a beer and clean my room and check on the laundry I had put in the wash earlier. It was dry, threw it in the dryer and went back to cleaning.
Not long after I had a clean room, my stomach reminded me that it was once again time to eat so off I went to Vons for a steak and side dish to cook up. Came home and chatted with John and Billy while I cooked, then ate and played some more computer games. Talked to Miss for awhile, did some more gaming and then hit the sack.
P.S. Our cat killed a bunny tonight. R.I.P. Floppers.
Quote of the day:
May sleep envelop you as a bed sheet floating gently down, tickling your skin and removing every worry. Reminding you to consider only this moment.
