You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note.

The other day I was perusing the aisles in Best Buy and decided to wonder over to the home entertainment section and look at all the things that I will never be able to afford, but will dream about having in my house. As I strolled down one aisle I came upon the remote control section. At the end of this section was this little device. Now in order to really know what I am going to go off on in the next few sentences you have to click on the link, and when you get to the page, look to the right of your screen and about halfway down the page you will see the price of this little gem. Now roll your tongue back up into your mouth and wipe the blood from your eyes. After I did the same thing in the middle of the store, I began thinking about all the other things I could do with $500 that would be 100 times....hell, 1,000 times more beneficial to me than purchasing a remote control. Let me just say it again. A remote. Control. So here is my list, and feel free to add to it by posting a comment.

1. Pay off credit cards
2. Buy food for 5 months
3. Put it into savings
4. Put a down payment on a car
5. Buy a t.v.
6. Fix my car
7. Take my friends out to eat for the week
8. Invest it
9. Go on a shopping spree at Bed Bath and Beyond
10. Buy anything else!
