What the future holds and why

Tomorrow I will attempt a feat of great proportions. It may go down in the history books even. I am going to be out of bed by 8:30 a.m. I know, I know. Unachievable you say. I, however say otherwise. It has always been a notion of mine that if you get up early and have a healthy breakfast and get all your work done, you will feel ten times better when you go to bed the next night. I just figure it's about time to start following that line of thinking. I have also been thinking a lot about the future as of late. I will be 27 this year and I have become aware of the fact that I need to start being a little more mature about certain things, finances and the way I handle money being one of them. I have always been awful with money. I see something I want and I get it. Someone else sees something they want, I get it for them...especially if she is a certain cute brown eyed brunette. So I am going to start acting more mature about money, get it together, and keep it that way. I want to buy a house someday, and I want my kids to go to college, and I want to be able to take the family to Disneyland once in awhile, or even something as simple as going out to eat once a week as a family. Some people may say, "oh, you're only 27, you still have plenty of time." but that isn't necessarily the case. Yes, 27 may still be young, but when 30 is 3 years away it makes it seem like you are getting older awfully fast. I enjoy my life and my job now, but I know I don't want to work at the melodrama the rest of my life. I want to be involved in something and I want to make a difference. I want people to see that I have done something with my life, with my hard earned money, and not just pissed it all away the second I got it. I want people to see that I was wise with what I was given in life, and take that and do the same with theirs, in the way that applies to them. I want to look at myself and be proud of what I've done. And rest assured, I will.

Extracarricular

I have found a lot of time recently awarded to me so I have been brushing up (pun intended) on my Photoshop skills! I'll post some samples as soon as I get a few projects done.
