Back from the dead

So I know that I write a lot of apologies for taking long leaves of absence...but here is another: I'm sorry for taking a long leave of absence. Let me catch you up on what I have been investing my time in recently. On September 2nd I began rehearsing our next show for the fall entitled Mummy Dearest. It is a spoof on the blockbuster hit The Mummy. The show will be hysterical, I'm sure. That being said, I have also been putting in some hours at the scene shop building sets, props, and painting. On top of that I am also doing 6 shows a week. Now I am not complaining at all. This is the job I signed up for, but after awhile it will take it's toll on a fella. I am so charged from all of this that I am usually too tired to even sleep, or too charged to sleep, I'm not sure which. I hope to put up some pictures soon of the set in the building stage and then also after it's set up in the theatre.
A few weeks back I was fortunate enough to venture to Universal Studios Hollywood with some friends. It was a very impromptu trip, but well worth it. Good fun and conversation was had by all, as well as some singing in the car on the trip down. Tomorrow will be another day off, then a few more days rehearsing, and we open the show a week from Thursday. Once my brain comes out of rehearsal mode and things settle down a bit, I will be posting more frequently, but until then, I bid you ado.
